I founded Strive after recognising a gap in the learning opportunities available to those working in the pre-hospital environment. Whilst online e-learning has become increasingly accessible and certainly has its place, it can often feel repetitive and lacks the realism needed to truly prepare people for the challenges they face on the frontline.
With over 14 years of operational experience as a Paramedic, alongside several years delivering First Response Emergency Care (FREC) training and more recently lecturing on a university Paramedic Science programme, I have seen first-hand the value of practical, immersive education. My aim has always been to create training that bridges the gap between theory and real-world practice.
That's why Strive delivers engaging, scenario-based Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through interactive webinars, face-to-face training days, and an annual educational conference. Our training focuses on realistic situations that frontline practitioners are likely to encounter, from common clinical presentations through to major incidents and complex decision-making scenarios.
By combining evidence-based practice with experiential learning, participants are encouraged to think critically, build confidence, and develop skills that can be immediately applied in their professional roles.
At Strive Learning & Development, our mission is to deliver high-quality, engaging, scenario-based training that prepares people for real-world situations through meaningful experiential learning.
We believe learning should be interactive, relevant, and enjoyable. Whether you are new to frontline care or an experienced clinician looking to broaden your knowledge, our goal is to provide training that enhances confidence, competence, and professional development in a supportive learning environment.
